 Tony
Castro Ltd is a company dedicated to creative and innovative design
and styling in the Marine Field. Established in 1982, a wealth of
experience and knowledge has been gained through the design and
engineering of some 180 yachts. We have maintained the ability to
offer a complete design service and have a deep interest in
CAD/CAM/CAE.
The company has grown steadily and now employs a number of highly
skilled naval architects, designers, stylists and engineers. |

Tony Castro himself is the driving force behind the
business, dealing personally with all clients and overseeing all
design work. He draws on a wealth of experience, dating from the
early 70’s when he received his BSc in Naval architecture from
Strathclyde University and MSc from Glasgow University in
Aero/Hydrodynamics.
Tony is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Royal Institute of
Naval Architects, a honorary visiting lecturer at Strathclyde
university, an Associate-Member of the Society of Naval Architects
and Marine Engineers (USA) and a member of many technical committees
such as the Royal Ocean Racing Club, Royal Yachting Association, and
Maritime Forum. He is regularly involved in the formulation of
several yacht rules including IACC, WHITBREAD, IOR, Mount Gay, IMS,
etc.
He is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
The design team consists of 8 professionals with a variety of
experience and backgrounds. Naval architects, industrial designers,
engineers and graphics experts are among the team, enabling Tony to
draw on a real depth of talent within the office. |
